The Proud Parents Buyers Group Foundation is a Non-profit foundation that is organized exclusively for charitable scholarships, awards and/or educational purposes, including: engaging in all activities necessary, useful, or expedient, through operative measures, to promote, develop personal success and further the interest of education under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Our goal is to make a positive difference in the lives of young men and women involved in 4-H and FFA by helping to develop their personal success, by pursuing their passion in agricultural education.

The Proud Parents Buyers Group Foundation may award scholarships annually to deserving members of Trails End 4-H, Oak Ridge FFA and Grand Oaks FFA. Scholarships will be awarded based on the information submitted from the applicant. The total amount of scholarships budgeted for each year will be determined by the Proud Parents Buyers Group Foundation members.

 

In order to apply for the Proud Parents Buyers Group Foundation Scholarship, the following requirements must be met:

  1. Student must be a Senior in High School

  2. Student must have an active membership in at least one of the following: Trails End 4H, Oak Ridge FFA or Grand Oaks FFA for a minimum 2 years.

  3. In the event of a transfer student, the following guidelines will apply:

  •  Agriculture education credits will be determined by a written letter from their former FFA advisor or 4-H Manager, the student must have completed or be in the process of completing at least 1 year (and a second Semester of Agriculture education.)

  • Student must be enrolled in Trails End 4H, Oak Ridge FFA or Grand Oaks FFA the entirety of their senior year. 

     

Established guidelines and instructions are as follows:

  1. Application packets must be filled out completely and contain all required materials.

  • Applications must be mailed with a postmark date of no later than May 5th, 2022

  2. Please submit the following in your application packet:

  • Application (Section 1-8)

  • Signed Agreement Form

  • Two (2) Letters of Recommendation – Cannot be FFA Advisor, 4-H Leader or family member

  • GPA/Class Rank Verification Form signed by High School Counselor or Principal

  • 4-H/FFA Membership Verification Form(s) signed by Club Manager/Advisor

   3. Scholarship Recipient’s will be notified within 90 days of submission deadline if they are awarded a scholarship.

   4. The decision of Proud Parents Buyers Group Scholarship Committee is final.

   5. The Proud Parents Buyers Group reserves the right to determine the dollar amount and number of recipients(s) each year. If enough funding is not available, the Proud Parents Buyers Group reserves the right to suspend the awarding of the scholarships until sufficient fundraising goals are met.

​   6. Race, color, sex, creed, etc. will never be a consideration for any decisions the scholarship committee makes.

   7. Eligibility does not guarantee an award of scholarship.

   8. Applications will not be returned to applicants and will be destroyed after the evaluation process is complete.
